Hunger Magazine: Issue 3
Designer Ben Jeffery over at Hunger has sent over a few images from the recent issue [3] of Rankin's Hunger Magazine.
Issue 3 features Daniel Craig and Naomi Harris, the stars of Skyfall. As Ben explains the magazine itself features a fluoro 812 pink as it’s 5th colour special. This was used throughout the magazine in photographic affects, typographic highlights and is key in the section break pages. The section breaks for this issue also feature ‘Hungry Sans’ a hand rendered typeface. Fitting into the hunger hand-drawn aesthetic, they work concurrently with the 5th fluoro pink special to provide rich and bold section dividers.
